National Student Board

  • PRESIDENT

Hi! My name is Everton Prospere (he/him), and I am a Junior at Brown University studying Political Science and Hispanic Studies. I am particularly passionate about grassroots activism and finding methods to effectively incorporate voters, especially underrepresented voices, into the United States' election systems. As the President of the Every Vote Counts National Student Board, I am thrilled to help in the critical effort to increase youth civic engagement by working with nearly 100 chapters and partners as well as an outstanding team. On campus, I am a member of the Brown Political Union and participate more actively in voter engagement as the former President of the Every Vote Counts chapter at Brown. Outside of the civic realm, I am an assistant conductor for the Brown Band and can often be found at the local tennis courts!

  • DIRECTOR OF CIVIC EDUCATION

Hey y'all! My name is Esha Bolar, I'm a junior at Yale College majoring in History with certificates in Education Studies and Japanese. I grew up in Iowa, where I was deeply shaped by the political energy of the Iowa Caucuses and early involvement in social reform. Over time, I witnessed my state take alarming turns as access to fundamental rights like voting became increasingly restricted. I became active in grassroots advocacy, working on racial equity, education, and gun control reform through organizations like CORE and March for Our Lives. At Yale, I discovered a particular passion for voter education, serving in Yale Votes and now as Co-President of its successor, the Yale Democracy Project. The last election season made it clear how confusing voting procedures can be-- especially for college students navigating varying state laws. I'm excited to expand this work across campuses, helping students engage in civic life, understand voting systems, and advocate for institutional support around voter registration.

On campus, I serve as the 2025 Chair of the Harvard Votes Challenge and previously led our first legislative advocacy program as Advocacy Director. • DIRECTOR OF MEDIA

Hi! I'm Skylar Harris (she/her), a Vanderbilt University sophomore majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science. I am the Director of Media, where I enjoy making important civic information clear and accessible to people, especially young voters. I am a Georgian, and I've seen firsthand how access to valid education and valid information can vary among communities, between places like Atlanta and small towns. That's why I'm committed to disseminating digestible content before elections. At Vanderbilt, I am VandyVotes' Public Relations Co-Chair, a nonpartisan civic organization that registers students to vote and informs them about coming elections. I'm also proud to serve as the Vice President of Marketing for the Vanderbilt Black Business Student Association, where I help promote business education and career growth for the Black student population. I'm also the Publicity Chair for the NAACP at Vanderbilt, where I help promote events and activities related to racial justice and advocacy.
